Data protection officer

Enquiry

The form asks for role, institution, email, use case, and component. It also sends the locale, the page you submitted from, and any utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, or utm_content values that were in the address bar. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering a contract). There is no booking calendar.

With no form endpoint configured, your browser opens an email to contact@synapticfour.com. The message stays in your email program until you send it. We then process it to answer you.

Hosting

When this site is published, the host is webtropia (WIIT AG). A laptop stack is not that host. The host processes access data such as IP address, time, and user agent so the pages can be delivered. This page does not state the host’s street address or a transfer instrument, because those details are not recorded in this repository.

Residency log

Ferrum appends a row when DRS object bytes are downloaded and when Beacon is queried. If the caller presents a Passport, the requester is that token's subject. If there is no Passport, Ferrum stores the client IP from X-Forwarded-For or X-Real-IP when one of those headers is present, and leaves requester empty when neither header is present. On this laptop the table held empty requesters, subject identifiers, and IP-shaped requesters. The public host does not serve the residency list. The auditor persona reads it through this site with a verified Passport, and Ferrum returns only rows whose requester is that token's subject. GET /api/v1/audit/residency/verify stays public and returns chain metadata only. The log is append-only. This demo does not expire rows on a timer. They remain in the Ferrum volume until an operator removes that volume. Verified on the laptop, not yet on a public host.

Fonts

Pages use system fonts. No font file is loaded from Google or any other third party.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and a copy of your data, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For this controller, that is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg.

Language model

BioResearch Assistant is not deployed in this demo, so this site does not send prompts to a language model. There is no third-country transfer for that purpose. No provider is selected.

Analytics

This build loads no analytics script. The site sets no cookie and does not write localStorage or sessionStorage. Campaign parameters stay in the address bar and are copied into the enquiry you send. No cookie banner is shown, because the site does not store information on your device for measurement.
